The Queen does not offer any handicap accessible accommodations since the establishment is located within a facility that contains not more than five rooms for rent or hire and that is occupied by the proprietor of the establishment as the residence of the proprietor. (5 U.S.C. 301; 28 U.S.C. 509, 510; 42 U.S.C. 12186(b). § 36.104 Definitions).
The Queen is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under the National Historic Preservation Act (16 U.S.C. 470 et seq.) or is designated as historic under State or local law (§ 36.405 Alterations: Historic preservation.). Thus, we are not able to offer handicap accessible accommodations since such alterations would destroy the historical significance of the property.
Guest rooms are not ADA accessible as they are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor, and require going up at least one flight of stairs.
A handicap accessible entrance to the first floor is located to the left of the building. Call 814-355-7946 if you need assistance. Guests may also utilize this entrance to reduce the number of stairs.
