Historic Bellefonte is located within an 8 hour drive for 2/3rd of the population of the United States. Conveniently located off Interstate 80 in the middle of Pennsylvania, Bellefonte is only 3-4 hours from New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore and the Washington, D.C. area.
In Victorian Bellefonte's Historic District, The Queen is only 15 minutes or less from Penn State, 2 miles from Route 220/26, (soon to be I99) and 3 miles from I-80. Fishing, hunting, boating, caving, airports, glider port, museums, genealogy research, libraries, shopping, fine dining, and scenic tours are all nearby.
From State College:
Follow Route 26/220 North to Bellefonte exit. Follow 150 N. Go to traffic light at Talleyrand Park. A gazebo and stream will be on your left and the Bush House Hotel will be ahead on your left. Turn right at this light onto High Street. Go 2 blocks up the hill to the courthouse and turn left onto Allegheny Street. Go to the second traffic light and turn right onto East Linn Street. Go exactly one block. The Queen is the last house on the right on that block.
From Harrisburg:
Follow Route 322 east to the foot of Seven Mountains. Turn right onto route 144 and take that into Bellefonte, where it becomes Spring Street. Cross Bishop Street, High Street, Howard Street, and Lamb Street. The next street is Linn. Turn right and go exactly 2 blocks. The Queen is the last house on your right on the 2nd block.
From I-80:
Take the Bellefotne exit from the interstate. Follow signs to Bellefonte. At the second traffic light after exiting I-80, turn right onto Wilson Street. At the second stop sign turn left onto Linn Street. Travel two blocks to the intersection of Linn and Ridge Streets. Don't be confused by the fact that there is no 200 block on East Linn Street. The Queen will be on your left at this intersection. If you get to the traffic light you went a block too far.
